XX4 PRACTICAL GUIDE

Spin Game Refer & Earn in India: Read the Trigger Before You Invite

A referral banner can look like free money, but the credit usually depends on something your friend must do after joining. The useful question is not “how much is the reward?” It is “what exact event makes the reward payable, and can that credit actually be withdrawn?”

01

Map the referral flow before sharing

Open the live referral terms and identify the steps in order: link or code used, new account created, mobile verification completed, KYC if required, qualifying deposit or game activity, and the point when the reward becomes visible. If a condition is missing from the summary banner, look for the detailed rules before inviting anyone.

Take a screenshot of the offer page on the day you share it. Referral campaigns change quickly, and a saved copy helps you remember the eligibility window, reward amount and expiry that applied at that time.

02

Do not confuse credited bonus with withdrawable cash

Some apps place referral rewards in a promotional wallet rather than the cash balance. That credit may require turnover, may work only in selected games, or may expire. A balance number is therefore not enough; check the wallet label and withdrawal conditions.

If the service uses several balances, record where each reward lands. This prevents a common mistake: assuming a referral payment can be transferred to UPI immediately and then depositing more money to “unlock” it.

03

KYC can affect both sides of the referral

A programme may reject duplicate identities, reused devices, repeated payment accounts or profiles that fail verification. In India, name mismatches between the game profile, PAN or Aadhaar details and the payment beneficiary can also lead to manual review.

Do not create accounts for other people or ask them to submit your bank or UPI details. Referral credit is not worth creating an identity problem that later blocks an ordinary withdrawal.

04

Share responsibly

Tell the person that the link is a game referral and that real-money play can involve loss. Do not describe the reward as guaranteed income, and do not pressure someone to deposit only so you can receive credit.

Avoid posting referral codes in places where children are likely to see them or where promotional gaming content is not allowed. A transparent invitation is better than disguising the link as a free gift or unrelated download.

05

If the referral reward does not appear

Check the invitation status inside the app first. Confirm that the friend used the correct code or link, joined during the campaign period and completed the listed qualifying action. Then check whether the reward is pending, rejected or placed in a different wallet.

When contacting official support, include the referral record or campaign ID and the relevant account identifier. Never provide an OTP or UPI PIN to prove that you own the account.

06

A simple decision rule

Use a referral programme only when the terms are understandable without guessing. If the reward depends on escalating deposits, unclear turnover or repeated recruitment, the sensible choice is to ignore the promotion and use the app only if the underlying game itself is worth your time.

07

Keep your own referral ledger

If you share more than one invitation, note the date, campaign name and status shown for each invite. This is especially useful when a programme has different rewards for registration, first deposit and later activity. A simple note prevents you from mixing two campaigns together when one credit is delayed.

Do not use another person’s login to check whether their task completed. Ask them to verify their own status and share only the non-sensitive result. Referral tracking should not become a reason to exchange passwords or account access.

08

Tax and cash-value questions deserve separate attention

A promotional amount shown in an app is not automatically the same as money received in your bank account. If rewards become meaningful income, keep your transaction history and check the tax treatment that applies to your circumstances rather than relying on an in-app label.

The key point is to document what was actually credited and what was actually withdrawn. Screenshots of banners are not a substitute for wallet and bank records.

09

Keep the invitation optional

A friend should be able to ignore your referral without damaging the relationship. Share the terms once, explain that the game can involve losses, and let the other person decide without repeated reminders or pressure.

18+ note

Final note for adult players

A referral is only worth sharing when you can explain the condition clearly and would still be comfortable if the invited person chose not to deposit.

Verify the live referral conditions at the destination and keep invitations separate from pressure, account sharing or unplanned deposits.
